Aloha and welcome to Punahoa Beach Condominiums. We offer vacation rentals in our private, quiet 15 unit building which is just steps away from the warm Pacific Ocean. Our location is one of Maui's best! Beachfront in South Kihei, we are between Charley Young and Kalama Beach Parks and close to the Kihei-Wailea shops, restaurants and championship golf courses. Come and experience your dream vacation in our spectacular setting!
When you contact Punahoa Beach, either by phone or email, you will be speaking to one of our helpful office staff. We will help you make your reservation, provide the keys for you when you arrive, and help you with any questions or concerns.
We pride ourselves on friendly, personal service with plenty of "Aloha Spirit" that makes Maui famous. We look forward to seeing you soon in sunny Kihei, Maui.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How far is Punahoa from the airport?
A: Approximately 25 minutes from the airport.
Q: Are there stores near you?
A: We are within walking distance of grocery stores, gift and clothing shops, gas stations and restaurants.
Q: Do you have beach equipment/toys to loan or rent?
A: We do not have beach toys/equipment. However, you can rent all types of equipment at local shops within walking distance of Punahoa Beach Resort. We provide beach towels, beach chairs and small coolers at no charge.
Q: Can you see the ocean from the Punahoa?
A: Yes! All units have private lanai's that overlook the ocean.
Q: Do you have internet connection and parking?
A: Both wireless internet & on-site parking are FREE!
Q: What about laundry facilities and BBQ’s?
A: We have a coin operated laundry room on the ground floor and a BBQ area on the North side of the building.
Q: Do you have air conditioning?
A. Only our two penthouses and one studio. All rooms have ceiling fans.
Q: Is it safe to drink the tap water?
A: We have some of the cleanest, best tasting water around!
Terms and conditions
Daily Rates:- Note that Daily Rates are based on a minimum 3 night stay and are subject to change.
- Rates do not include Maui taxes and a cleaning fee.
- A cleaning fee for a Studio unit is $175.00, and the cleaning fee for a 1 or 2 Bedroom and Penthouse unit is $200.00.
- No stays less than 3 nights allowed.

- Winter Season: January - April
- Shouldeer-Season: May - June & November - December
- Summer Season: July - October
- 10% Discount for 10 Nights or more, not available in Winter Season.
- Discount for 21 Nights or more stay is 15% all year .
- 21 Night discount can not be combined with any other discount.
- Kama'aina* 15% Discount
Kama'aina includes Hawaii residents with State ID and rental program owner's family and friends (No ID required) If the Owner has notified Manager via an email before the booking.
- Deposit of $1000 due at time of booking. Payment in full is due 60 days prior to arrival.
Most major credit cards are accepted. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and charged to your credit card on file. - Cancellations or significant changes:
- Between booking and 180 days prior to arrival: 1 night stay is charged
- Between 179 days and 60 days prior to arrival: Full deposit is charged
- Between 59 and 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of reservation is charged
- 29 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of reservation is charged.
- Other Information:
- All charges are subject to taxes.
- Check-in is 3PM. Check out is 11AM.
- Requests for specific units are subject to booking needs & changes in availability and are therefore subject to change at any time.

How do we protect your information?
- We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order.
- We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
- After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
